ORMOND STRONG-CommanderDebbie Kruck-Forrester is the wife of one of the 200 Flagler Beach based Army National Guardsman from the 1-265th ADA.

She is Commander of Ormond Strong, a 501(C)(3) she founded in Feb 2015 prior
to the 1-265ths one-year mission to Afghanistan.

Members of her group consist of Veterans, active duty military, their families and patriots within the community. Together they kept a 2.6-mile vigil walk over the Granada bridge in Ormond Beach at 7:30 every morning for over 367 consecutive
days, raising awareness and support for all Americans who serve.

The group hosted over 100 Veteran/First Responder based events and activities throughout the year of their deployment.

Upon the National Guardsman’s safe return March 10, 2016, Ormond Strong continues not only to walk bridges but BUILD bridges between the U.S Military, First Responders and our community. They continue to host programs and tackle
the big issues plaguing our American Hero’s such as PTSD, unemployment and homelessness.

In 2016 Military Spouse Magazine named Debbie the “Florida National Guard Military Spouse of the Year”
